Beer Pong Rules

All good things must come to an end, and the Darwin Decathlon ends in style. Double elimination beer pong (Beirut rules) must always be played as the final event of any CRGC sanctioned tournament.

  • Each side starts with 10 cups in a pyramid formation pointing toward opponents
  • Three beers are used to fill the 10 cups with 3.3 ounces in each cup
  • Each team gets one "restack" where cups are re-consolidated into a tight formation
  • If one team makes both balls in a row (one from each player) they get both balls back
  • If one player makes three consecutive shots, they get a free return ball to shoot again
  • Once the ball touches anything (table, cup, player, ceiling, etc.) it is a loose ball
  • Loose balls can be grabbed before bouncing into a cup
  • Loose balls are fair game for anyone to grab by any means necessary

SNAFU

Teams that get shutout are penalized with a shot of liquor for each losing player

SAVIOR

Once per round, each player gets a "blue ball" shot - make it and pick another cup for opponents to drink and remove from table
